Small Business Recovery Grant (SBRG) Program

In an effort to further our mission and support members institutions in New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York (FHLBNY), is offering the COVID-19 Small Business Recovery Grant (SBRG) Program.
The SBRG Program is intended to support the financial security and health of workers employed by organizations that have suffered a decrease in revenue as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. All applications submitted to the FHLBNY must be through a participating member. Members are solely responsible for identifying eligible recipients; collecting, verifying and retaining all documentation that supports eligibility and compliance with the Program Guidelines; and submitting applications to the FHLBNY for program funds.
Members are also required to submit the COVID-19 Small Business Recovery Grant Program Member Acknowledgement form prior to participation; this must be executed by a senior officer of the member institution.
In addition to the COVID-19 Small Business Recovery Grant Program, the FHLBNY provides Disaster Relief Funding, which offers discounted advance rates to members.
